Sunday School

Mission Statement
Through God's word, we hear the Good News of Jesus and serve others with a glad heart.

Sunday School is offered on Sunday mornings from 9:30AM to 10:30AM. We serve children from 3 years old to 12th grade. We have a dedicated staff of volunteers, most of whom have been teaching for over ten years. St. Paul's Sunday School staff would love to have your child join us for a great journey to a better understanding of God's word.

Curriculum:
We use the 'Growing in Christ' curriculum here at St. Paul's. This helps the children focus on the heart of the Bible: Jesus Christ. Their lessons help connect the Word of God to their daily life. We try to build excitement for learning about God's grace and love by having a lot of hands on projects for them to enjoy.

Outreach:
Our next Outreach project is to collect money to help teens living at Coaches Corner in Painesville. This is a home that helps local young men with the potential to lead productive and successful lives, but hwo are dealing with difficult family circumstances and need a stable place to live. Coaches Corner encourages academic success and teaches independeng living skills. This is a long term group home to support the young men to graduate and get them started in college.
We are encouraging the children to collect pennies from their family, friends and neighbors. Together we will set a goal for how many pennies we would like to collect. If the goal is reached, we will have a 'Penny Party' on the last day of Sunday School. We will also be adding the weekly offering money to the Coaches Corner fund. Please encourage your child to help with their prayers and monetary support of this great place for these young men.

Once again, we'd like to invite your child to join us. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the church at (440) 354-3000.
